Kelly 's Story
My Life - My Story
I am:
...the youngest of 8. My siblings include Donald J., Richard, Helen, Mary, Barbara, Peter, and Nancy.
1984-1986: After I graduated I briefly moved to Egg Harbor (Door County, WI) and worked a summer job at The Alpine Resort. In fall, I moved to Madison and attended Madison Business College, and graduated with an Associate Degree in General Business Management. After I graduated, I went directly into a health insurance company in Madison.
Over the years, I have tried waitressing, barbering/cosmetology, insurance, bookkeeping, phone data entry, switchboard operator, encyclopedia and vacuum cleaner sales (yes, really). I motivationally produced the first and second Union Cab music CD, Rearview Visionaries. Drove and worked with cognitively challenged individuals, did rough work construction briefly, woodworking, landscaping, and bus driving.
All in all, I found out my real passion lies with helping people.
Brief timeline:
Lived in Door County (various places/various times) for about 1 1/2 years.
1988 - Met my current husband, Corey Gray, when we moved in next to each other on S. First St, 116 & 118 ...Expand for more
respectively, in Madison, WI
1994 - Corey and my wonderful son, Spencer, was born.
2001 & 2010 Motivationally produced the 1st and 2nd Union Cab music CDs
February 2002 - My mother passed away at home, surrounded by family.
December 2002 - Corey and I got married.
December 2010 - My father passed away.
2012: - Spencer graduated from high school. Four days later, he and I drove out to Yosemite National Park in California to work. I also obtained my California Massage License. My son stayed on in Yosemite and I came back to Madison.
Presently (20176):
- I do massage and energy work out of the Olde Town Crossing Office Building (321 St. George St., Green Bay), at Babbling Brook Bodywork, LLC (2037 Winnebago St., Madison). I am also a phone data entry operator and driver at Union Cab Cooperative (Madison).
- My husband, Corey, is working maintenance in the UW Health System.
- Our son, Spencer, recently returned from Yosemite, and is working in DeForest.
